Mark is originally from the midwest and spent his formative years in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating from Kansas State University, he served two years in the United States Peace Corps in Bulgaria. Upon completing his service in the Peace Corps, he moved to Seattle where he taught at the high school level. Mark once again returned and remains in Seattle after attending the University of Kansas School of Law. Mark has handled a variety of cases including wrongful death and bodily injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents and premises liability, construction defect, timber trespass, bad faith, and other insurance coverage disputes. He has successfully defended clients before the Ninth Circuit of Appeals, Washington State Court of Appeals, and superior courts throughout the state. The lessons he learned as both an educator and a peace corps volunteer remain with him and he brings that sensibility to his legal practice.
