Josh Grissom joined Mix Sanders Thompson in 2022 as an Associate Attorney after gaining initial experience in the areas of commercial liability defense and personal lines. He is a recent graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law, where he had the opportunity to participate in civil infraction hearings as an intern with the City of Spokane. Josh additionally served as an Articles Editor with the Gonzaga Journal of International Law and his vesting paper on international human rights was published in the organization's April 2021 issue. Josh also worked for Gonzaga Athletics as an NCAA compliance intern and gained estate planning experience as a member of the Elder Law Clinic during his time at the institution.
Prior to law school, Josh graduated from the University of Idaho and worked as the sports editor of the Moscow-Pullman Daily News. He specialized in coverage of Washington State University athletics and won a handful of awards from the Utah Idaho Spokane Associated Press Association.
Josh was motivated to follow in his mother's footsteps and attend law school in the Pacific Northwest. He grew up an avid sports fan and is a supporter of all Seattle squads, especially the latest addition of the Kraken. In his spare time, he enjoys hitting the slopes for a few ski runs, catching a Mariners game at T-Mobile Park, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
